How to set up

Adding your RCB Visa card to Apple Pay is simple. Just make sure your iPhone, iPad, Μac or Apple Watch is running the most recent iOS by checking “Software update” under “General” section in Settings.

You can add up to eight (8) cards in an Apple device.

For iPhone

Open the Wallet app and tap the “+” sign.

For Apple Watch

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

For iPad

Go to Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay”, and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

For MacBook Pro

Using Touch ID, go to System Preferences, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then select “Add Card”.

Follow the instructions on the screen to add your RCB Visa card.

Confirm your identity by either entering a One Time Password that will be sent to you or by calling RCB Telephone Banking.

Review and accept the Terms and Conditions to start using Apple Pay.

How to Pay?

Use Apple Pay wherever you see one of these symbols:

Payments will come from your default card, which can be changed at any time in Settings.

You can pay with:

Face ID

double-click the side button, glance at your screen, then hold iPhone near the reader.

Touch ID

hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID.

Apple Watch

double-click the side button and hold Apple Watch up to the reader.

You can pay with:

iPhone and iPad

Just select Apple Pay at checkout and complete the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

Mac

Select Apple Pay and complete the payment on the website in Safari using your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Apple Pay is a safe and secure way to pay, allowing you to set up your eligible personal or corporate RCB Visa debit and credit card(s) on your Apple device(s) to make payments on the go.

Your card details are not be stored on your Apple device or sent to merchants, so your card information stays private and secure. Additionally, payments need to be authorised with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode when paying in store with your iPhone or Apple Watch or in-app on your iPhone and iPad.

You must immediately cancel your digital cards either by using Find My iPhone or by calling us on +357 25 355 722.

On iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap the “+” sign. For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

On iPad, go to Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay”, and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

On MacBook Pro with Touch ID, go to System Preferences, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then select “Add Card”.

Follow the instructions on the screen of your device to add your RCB Visa card.

Apple Pay can be used worldwide at any store displaying the Apple Pay or Contactless logo.

Pay in shops - hold your iPhone near the contactless terminal and confirm the payment using Touch ID or Face ID or your passcode. For Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display of your device up to the contactless reader.

Pay in-app - using Apple Pay at in-app merchants is also quick and secure. You can pay where you see the ‘Buy with Apple Pay’ or Apple Pay symbols.

NOTE: Do not let anyone, including members of your family to register their passcode, finger print and/or face in your device connected to Apple Pay.

You can see a record of every payment you’ve made using Apple Pay by checking your RCB Mobile Banking app or RCB Online Banking.

You can also see your last ten (10) Apple Pay payments, including merchant details, under ‘Transaction history’ in the Wallet app.

No, there is no need to have internet connection when making payment through Apple Pay. However, an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) connection is needed to register your RCB Visa card in Apple Pay. Based on your mobile plan and mobile network’s offering, additional charges may apply.

No, your Apple device must be turned on to perform payments.

Our Acquiring Services give you the ability to process all major credit and debit cards payments and provide your customers with more options to pay - these options include mobile payments with Apple Pay, RCB Digital Wallet, Google Pay and other applications. Contact RCB Acquiring Services team to discuss payment processing details.

Payments are charged to the default card in your Wallet app automatically. It’s easy to change your default card. Simply open the Wallet app and drag the card you want to be the default one down to the front of the Wallet.

You can choose which card to use when you’re about to pay – just open the Wallet app and select the card you want to use.

On your Apple Watch, double click the side button, swipe left or right to select a card and present the watch to the contactless reader.

For in-app purchases, select the Apple Pay logo, then 'Cards and billing’ to choose a card.

Go to Wallet, tap the card you wish to delete, and tap the (…) information symbol, scroll down the menu until the option Remove This Card.

You can also call the RCB Bank at +357 25 355 722 and deactivate your card.

For each Apple Pay enabled device you can load up to eight (8) cards. Devices do not share card details, so if you want the same card on two different devices, you need to load the card on each device separately.
