RCB Bank: Another distinction by the Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Council for its CSR program
For the second consecutive year, the Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Council awarded RCB Bank for its Corporate Social Responsibility on Thursday December 1st 2016 in the presence of the President of the Republic, the Commissioner for Volunteerism and the President of the Council at the Presidential Palace. The distinction was a result of a competition held by the Council whereby NGOs proposed a number of companies whose work was reviewed by a committee. The members of the committee selected RCB Bank and two other organizations for this prestigious distinction. It should be noted that the Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Council awards organizations every year as a result of an annual competition it launches.
Receiving this important award Dr. Kirill Zimarin, CEO of RCB Bank thanked the council and the NGOs and noted: “This distinction is of great importance for us because it reflects our commitment to provide support to many charity organizations and NGOs and through them to the vulnerable members of the Cypriot society. A commitment that is not simply a Social Corporate Responsibility policy for us but an integral part of our corporate culture”.
