RCB Bank awarded as the "Best Bank in Cyprus" at the Global Banking & Finance Awards
RCB Bank was awarded the prestigious "Best Bank in Cyprus" distinction at the 2015 Global Banking & Finance Awards. Organized by "The European", one of Europe’s most prominent publications, the Global Banking & Finance Awards are an institution in recognizing the best banks on the world’s banking scene.
Presenting the award during a special event for RCB Bank’s 20th anniversary which took place at the Presidential Palace, the Business Editor in Chief of the European Ms. Mercedes Amezola stated that "the aim of the Global Banking & Finance Awards is to recognise the leading financial institutions from around the world, those that excel not only regionally but also globally. And RCB Bank is among them, by fulfilling all the criteria that our awards team look for: leadership, excellence, innovation, trust, responsibility, transparency and corporate social responsibility".
Mr. Kirill Zimarin, CEO of RCB Bank thanked the organizers for the prestigious "Best Bank in Cyprus" award and underlined the Bank’s prudent model that led it to become one of the largest banks in Cyprus with branches across the country and offices in Luxembourg, Moscow and London and a significant EU bank under the direct supervision of the European Central Bank. Mr. Zimarin concluded that "20 years since our founding, we stand here tonight proud of our sound and profitable results but also for securing our client’s best interests, for our expansion in the Cyprus market and for servicing clients from more than 50 countries".
