RCB Bank: a distinction by the Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Council for its CSR program
The Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Council awarded RCB Bank for its Corporate Social Responsibility on Friday December 18th 2015 in the presence of the First Lady, the Commissioner for Volunteerism and the President of the Council at the Presidential Palace.The distinction was a result of a competition held by the Council whereby NGOs proposed a number of companies whose work was reviewed by a committee. The members of the committee unanimously selected RCB Bank and three other organizations for this prestigious distinction. It should be noted that the Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Council awards four organizations every year as a result of an annual competition it launches.
After receiving this important award, Dr. Kirill Zimarin, CEO of RCB Bank noted: “This distinction is of vital importance since it reflects our solid commitment in doing our utmost to support charity organizations and NGOs and through them all those in need” and concluded by stating that “For us at RCB Bank, this isn’t simply a social corporate responsibility program; it is the essence of our corporate culture”.
