RCB Bank Ltd starts issuing contactless cards
Dear Clients,
We are pleased to inform you that as of July 4th, 2016, all new RCB Visa cards will be issued with a contactless functionality.
The contactless payments solution is fast, convenient and secure. Wherever you see the contactless symbol on the point-of-sale terminal, you can pay for purchases in less than a second. Just place your contactless RCB Visa card over the secure reader and get your receipt!
If the purchase is less than 20 Euros, no PIN is required. If the amount exceeds 20 Euros, you need to input your PIN.
With contactless RCB Visa cards, you may continue to use chip or magnetic stripe for transactions as before. The contactless functionality is just an additional and more convenient way to pay for goods and services.
