RCB Bank received the "CIBA 2015 business award for excellence"

RCB Bank was awarded the prestigious "CIBA 2015 Business Award for excellence" of the Cyprus International Businesses Association. The Cyprus International Businesses Association is the foremost representative of the international business community in Cyprus and works hard in promoting Cyprus as an international business centre. Presenting the award on behalf of the President of the Republic during the Annual General Meeting of CIBA that took place on Tuesday in Limassol, the Minister of Transport Mr. Marios Demetriades praised RCB Bank’s contribution to the Cyprus economy and the continuous development of its operations during these last 20 years.

Receiving the award, Mr. Kirill Zimarin, CEO of RCB Bank thanked CIBA for this prestigious distinction that reflects the Bank’s commitment to excellence. Mr. Zimarin noted the need for new stimuli and driving forces in order to increase the investment attractiveness of Cyprus.

"The successful recovery of the Cypriot economy requires further improvement in the quality of assets of Cypriot banks and the raise of the country's international credit rating to an investment grade. This will allow Cyprus to overcome the effects of the economic crisis and to ensure the growth and prosperity of the country’s economy," said Mr. Zimarin.
