RCB Bank: Support to restoration works at Karpasia cathedral

Executive Director of RCB Bank, Mr. Sotos Zackheos has presented a cheque to support restoration works at the historic church of Archangel Michael in the occupied Yialousa, as part of the Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.

At a meeting Mr. Zackheos was briefed by the Bishop of Karpasia, Christoforos and the President of the community of Yialousa Panayiotis Hadjipandelis, about the great archaeological and religious significance of Archangel Michael, Cathedral of Karpasia.

Mr. Hadjipandelis expressed his gratitude to RCB, noting the importance of contributions to the difficult task of protecting the cultural heritage in the Turkish occupied areas of Cyprus.
